Schultz Equpment Night Week 11 results at Norway Speedway

Schultz Equipment Sales of Iron Mountain sponsored week 11 at the Norway Speedway. Ryan Hood stormed through the field to pass Brandon Reichenberger to win the Pepsi Late Modal A feature, while Ron Jenshak won the Bumper to Bumper Auto Value Super Stock A feature, John Martin won the DQ-Dog A, and Jim Stachowicz won his 6th slammer feature of the season.

2009 Pepsi Late Model Rookie Brandon Reichenberger and Dallas Kralovetz led Late Model A feature to the green flag. Reichenberger took the early advantage over Kralovetz. Steve Debaker soon moved into the second position working his way by Kralovetz. Lurking mid-pack was Ryan Hood as he started to climb through the field on the outside. By lap 19 he was outside of Debaker for second, clearing him by lap 20 and setting his radar onto the leader. The laps kept ticking by, and Reichenberger’s lead shrunk with every passing lap, it looked like Hood was going to catch the leader, but would he do it with enough laps left to complete the pass? With 4 laps remaining Hood jumped to the outside of Reichenberger as the two raced door to door the final remaining laps. Wes Thompson and Rookie contender Chris Lassila raced to the green flag to start the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock A main. Before the first lap was completed an incident involving point leader Bill Delfosse crippled his #199 Monte Carlo severely, along with 3 time feature winner Mark Jenshak. Two other cautions would mar the start of the event before a lap could get completed. Finally the third attempt at the start of the race, the field took the green, but it would only last 3 laps when the #16 of Mike Stanchina was sent around and the field was engulfed into carnage, as the wreck collected all but 5 of the starters, including point contender Markus Bubloni, 3 out of the top 4 in points had been knocked out of the race, although Delfosse would get his #199 out to get some valuable points. Bob Nordel and Gerald Dugree Sr put the hammer down as they took the green to kick off the DQ-Dog Four Cylinder A feature, Dugree held the lead down from lap one until his #63 was over taken by #2 point man John Martin. Brett Bray led the first four laps of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock Semi-feature, but Terry Quick would race by on lap 5. Andy Gerwig held off Tom Bordeau to win the DQ-Dog Four Cylinder Semi-feature 1. #138 Andy Gerwig 2. #54 Tom Bordeau 3. #13 Eric Lafreniere 4. #41B Brian Stanchina 5. #89 Bobby Rose

Mike Reichenberger held fast time in the Pepsi Late Model division with a time of 14.854 average speed of 80.786 mph; Ron Jenshak was the fastest Super Stock with a time of 16.387 an average speed of 73.228, and Cody Skog won his 4th consecutive DQ-Dog fast time.

Pepsi Late Model heat wins went to, Tom Lindquist won the dash, Allan Yelle won the first heat, Putch Bently won the second heat, and Dan Lindsley won the third heat. Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock heat wins were won by, Mark Bubloni-Dash, Scott Visintainer the first heat, and Ryan Wender the second heat.
